At approximately 1.95 mm thick, ULTRAHYD® XT is 30% thicker than our original 1.5 mm leatherette, giving finished patches a stronger presence and elevated feel while maintaining the quality and consistency HYDBOND® customers expect.

ULTRAHYD® XT is an expansion of the HYDBOND® leatherette family, not a replacement for our original ULTRAHYD® line. Our original line will continue to be available, while XT gives customers a premium option when added thickness, durability, and structure are the priority.

I have contacted Hydbond Support twice with zero response about the panel coming half damaged and unusable for production for my customers. This is the second time I've ordered hydbond. The first panel I ordered was warped. Very unlikely that I will use hydbond again for acrylic panels.
This is a high quality leatherette that requires almost no cleaning after engraving. I’ve been experimenting with several companies over the last two months and the quality and consistency of Hydbond has been very impressive. Highly recommended!
