Frequently asked questions

Does the 10% discount really work on every order?

Yes. Customers get 10% off every eligible order they place with your code or link, including repeat orders. Excluded items are not discounted (see below).

How is my 5% commission calculated?

You earn 5% of eligible product sales after the 10% discount. Shipping, taxes, returned or refunded items and excluded items don't earn commission.

When and how do I get paid?

Commissions are paid monthly via PayPal. Each commission is held for 30 days to cover returns, and payouts are sent once your balance reaches $25. Balances under $25 carry over to the next month.

Can my code be combined with other discounts?

No. Affiliate codes can't be stacked with other discount codes.

Which products are excluded?

Equipment (heat presses, Merrow machines and laser kits), memberships, gift cards, and scrap or defective boxes are excluded from both the discount and commission.

Can wholesale customers use an affiliate code?

No. Wholesale/B2B accounts can't use affiliate codes. Wholesale accounts already receive their own pricing.

How do I get my code and link?

After we approve your application, we create your custom 10% discount code and send it to you with a shareable link (hydbond.com/discount/YOURCODE) that applies the code automatically at checkout.

Do I need a big following to apply?

No. We review every application by hand and look for a genuine fit with the patch, craft and print community, whatever your audience size.
